Salem's Costa Rica Mission Task Force coordinates the church's efforts for helping our sister congregation, Sola Fe, in San Sebastian, Costa Rica.  Mission trips are made to Sola Fe on a regular basis where time is spent developing a spiritual fellowship with their members, working with the children and youth of the barrio to encourage their educational development, and establishing Salem members' understanding of life in this culture.  Fund raisers are held periodically to raise money for this mission work; Salem's next Costa Rican trip is scheduled for January 2011.  Recently, bracelets made by the Sola Fe youth group have been sold at Salem.  Monies from these sales go to the Sola Fe youth to help fund some of their outreach projects in and around the barrio where they live.  For more information on this ministry, contact Sharon Carlson 727-9284.
